Beets n fruit smoothie

Loved the rich color of this one. Beets are so good for you! They are the best raw. My kiddo's enjoy  raw beets sliced up with carrots + apple cider vinegar often. Now back to this smoothie :)  This one  is loaded with antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and great for your heart/blood.



I red beet
1 orange
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 1/2 cups of ice
8 ounces of coconut milk - you could use hemp,almond, rice or flax seed milk.

I ended up throwing in a banana at the end. Figured a yellow color would be good. I bet fresh blueberries would make it sweeter. Next time  I make this I will add something green like spinach or kale. Maybe even a kiwi :)
