About Me

My photo
I am 37 Married Mother of 6 beautiful children :) I have 3 deep passions! First is seeing my husband and children thrive in all GOD has for them :) After that I am crazy wild about supernatural healing signs n wonders, miracles and the prophetic :) That list goes on and on... The 3rd would be healthy living.I call this blog "Juiced Alive" because its how I feel when I juice!Juicing and a raw diet mean a great deal to me. I am not 100% raw. I was born and raised in Alaska so I LOVE SALMON and MOOSE MEAT!! Juicing has been a big blessing to my body. I have been doing it for almost 8 yrs now. My children LOVE the hulk drink and many others :) My hope is that this blog will display that it can be simple and enjoyable. I could write pages on the benefits of juicing but I will spare you.........for now :) BLESSINGS!

Blueberry greek yogurt smoothie with lemon doTERRA essential oil

My 14 yo son Trenton said “ this smoothie is SWEET and TANGY ”. You know how teen boys can shovel EVERYTHING and the kitchen sink into their mouth??? YA they sure can and STAY THIN WITH GREAT MUSCLE TONE!! Remember those days wayyyy back when lol. Trenton’s friend was here while I made this drink. His buddy came back over today and asked for another smoothie :) That blessed me! Means one thing this smoothie is teen boy approved WOOHOO! No sugar added – now that is something to smile about. Most kids that come and see me make smoothies or fire up my juicer – they tend to stand back and do the ” WHAT IS SHE PUTTING IN THEM”  kinda arms folded up thingy. Feels great to show them you can throw down something VERY good for you that is NOT loaded with sugar :)

You know what else is cool? Trenton’s friend brought him Mom over. She spent hours in my kitchen with me :) Guess what she went out and bought? A JUICER !!!!!!!!!! She also joined the gym!! Makes my heart happy! Spread the health peeps :)

1 cup or more  frozen blueberries - fresh ones might make it sweeter
1 cup spinach
1 cup blueberry greek yogurt
handful or more of ice
1/4 to 1/2 of avocado
I used coconut milk but you could use any like flax seed, hemp, or almond milk.
3 -5 drops of lemon doTERRA essential oil

Power up your vitamix or high speed blender and tell me what you think :)

Love how the lemon gives this a twist but yet does not over power the blueberry flavor. My younger kiddo's said it tastes like blueberry lemon ice cream. Well thank you Lord I have a winner smoothie :)

You can check out my doTERRA essential oil page. I have been using so many in my smoothies. Fun to have my kids guess which oil I dropped in it.
